Matt Nichols is a seasoned Business Broker who also specializes in business valuations. He represents both buyers and sellers and brings an abundance of knowledge and experience to every transaction.
Matt grew up in the Albuquerque and Santa Fe areas in New Mexico. After graduating from La Cueva High School, he attended the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, California. He returned to New Mexico to work as a chef, leading to him opening his first restaurant, Fajitavilla, at the age of 27. He also owned Gold Street Caffe in Downtown Albuquerque for 10 years before selling the business to move with his family to Phoenix, Arizona.
With 25 years of experience owning and operating restaurants, Matt is understanding of a business owner’s perspective and the hard work required to make a business successful. He uses his knowledge and experience to help owners navigate through the intricacies of selling their business. With comprehensive insight in both the New Mexico and Arizona markets, Matt is able to serve business owners by introducing them to similar markets and the potential business opportunities within them, presenting a distinct advantage to both buyers and sellers.
Outside of the office, you can find Matt enjoying the outdoors. He is also an avid runner. Above all, his family is paramount, and he takes pride in the raising of his three children.
