Jim Hakeem joined NAI SunVista in 2004 and has more than 25 years of experience in the Albuquerque real estate market. He has a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from New Mexico State University and attended the University of Notre Dame where he earned a management certification. Prior to entering the commercial real estate profession, Jim owned a successful food manufacturing company which he sold to open his own real estate investment partnership.
While Jim has extensive knowledge in most disciplines of the Real Estate industry he specializes in land sales and development along with sales and leasing of industrial and office buildings.
He also has extensive experience in Investment property acquisition. Jim has represented local, regional and national developers in the assemblage and purchase of large tracts of land for multifamily, office and industrial development. The experience and knowledge gained through his own real estate transactions equipped Jim with the skills and abilities to assist clients in finding the right properties for their needs.
Jim is a director in the company and over the years has been recognized for numerous awards, including Top Producer, Top Broker and Largest Transaction over the past several years. He serves on the Board of the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce as well as Catholic Foundation Board and several real estate associations.
